Hi all

I have installed defacer on xoops v 2.3.2 and followed your instruction to add some code in the root/header.php and root/footer.php as you described in the read me file

Now in the admin of defacer/page manager whewe you can see all the pages that you want to have a different theme with that particular module. On the far right under options there is an icon for preview and if you click on it, yes the proper page comes up theme/module as it it be, but on the home page once you go there an click pn the menu and on the same module link it does not work.

In the site preferences of xoops do you need to change anything in the Default Theme?

Finally debug in the control admin of defacer module says:
Notice: Only variables should be assigned by reference in file /modules/defacer/class/page.php line 193

and in the home page debug:
Warning: Smarty error: unable to read resource: "msthemehome/xotpl/xometas.html" in file /class/smarty/Smarty.class.php line 1092

Warning: Smarty error: unable to read resource: "msthemehome/xotpl/xoscripts.html" in file /class/smarty/Smarty.class.php line 1092

Hope this helps

in line 193 in class/page.php
if (!$result =& $this->db->query($sql)) {
            return
0;
        }

replace by
if (!$result $this->db->query($sql)) {
            return
0;
        }

Hi,

I think that this module would be brilliant, I you know how it works. But as the most of other XOOPS modules, has Defacer also a leak of an user manual that tells you how to use it.

I hoped that Defacer could help me to chance the look of ex. X-forum and AMS to my own theme, but the only I see is the header and the URL of the module, as far I know you doesn't I think that you're spending time to create an module for only that thing.

So, please help me!!! ...And also please try to spread the words to making manuals to modules, or just manuals generally, as I think that I would be very useful for the XOOPS project.

Thanks and cheers!
